Ready For Restoration.
This truck was purchased new in 1950
by a Volunteer Fire Department to haul water.
It was taken out of service in 1966.
Since then, it had been sitting in the
Fire Chief's barn.
The tire in the bed is one of the
truck's original new tires, and
was on the left rear when I bought it
and I am the 2nd owner.
There are no rust problems in the lower cab
and door corners common to this body style.
There is one small rust spot on the
driver s side floor board.
The wood bed was gone.
I replaced it with metal for chores,
but it can be easily removed for restoration.
I hate to sell this truck but need the space
for my business.
