 I've been the second owner of this '58 Dodge Texan for eight years. It is in excellent running condition with all mechanical systems in smooth operation. It has an LD2, Red Ram, OHV 325 V8 engine, (2 barrel Carter carburetor), Pushbutton Powerflite automatic transmission, and I can't even speak of how rare this Texan is We haven't been able to find one '58 yet that may have survived. As a Special Edition it came with a custom chrome package, and it has a Texas emblem on the back, with an authenticity emblem on the passenger side push out window that reads "Made exclusively for Texans by Dodge". The interior has been redone in a beautiful beige and tan, along with carpet and headliner, and the paint job was done in a wheat color with a rosewood top. Everything on this car is completely original The only reason I'm selling it is because my wife pretty much talked me into it. Vehicle Condition 90 percent: Ding on the back bumper about a half inch deep, air conditioning hasn't been tested with freon, may need undercoat, no dents but a few scratches on the front bumper Chrome is in 90 percent good condition and the weather stripping could stand to be replaced, also the engine needs a steam cleaning.
