![]() similar to a Chevy van, Ford Econoline but with split front window and more room inside. Curb side window van means it only has windows on the passenger side. Cargo area carpeted in multi panel, multi color carpet; can be removed fairly easily, Body solid, glass in good shape, seats in good shape, dash in good shape carb is fairly new used for about 500 miles or so manual choke, front driver tire has slow leak, small rust area on driver side just behind door in lower outer rocker panel, easy fix. Very strong motor and transmission, bumpers replaced with heavy gauge steel bars; original bumpers are fairly easy to come by I have only owned this van since last October/November 2006 (bought on Ebay also) I had hoped to get it across the border and start using it as a delivery vehicle but the ownership was lost in the mail (now delivered to me) but I only had a small window of opportunity to get it to Canada and that has passed. I was going to start up a specialized art delivery service with this cool van but then the guy who was designated to drive for us decided afterwards that he would not drive the van as it did not have modern braking or steering; no CD player and no A/C! He could have told me he needed all that before I bought the van! The van needs a little more work to the driver side to smooth out the body as the previous owner removed the other previous owner's windows; Will then need paint or drive as is (what I was going to do). There is no warranty with this vehicle due to the age, etc. I think it could be driven anywhere though, best if you have some mechanical skills just in case (but then again if you did not, why would you buy an old car?) I do not know what the deal is on getting temporary plates, permits in the USA so the buyer will have to be familiar with that before purchasing if you intend on driving it back I can help arrange delivery but the buyer is solely responsible for the costs. The van is located in Cheektowaga (Buffalo) New York State. For Canadian parties, I would be more than glad to help you get it across the border if need be. The paperwork has already be sent to the US Customs people just in case. Email me at: rabbie6@hotmail.com for any more info or pictures or Call and leave your number at 416-877-2002 |
