 This gorgeous 1971 Avanti was returned to the factory in South Bend, Indiana in 1984 and upgraded to the latest Blake design, with all original factory equipment. The Blake design consisted of replacing the chrome bumpers with new molded fiberglas and relocating the front parking lights. Rear back up lights were relocated to the license plate area. Seats were replaced with Recaro adjustables and interior trim changed to leather. Power mirrors were also added. This beautiful car was repainted in the original color of "Cinnamon Firemist" in December 2008. It has the 1971 350ci Corvette Stingray 300hp engine, Borg Warner automatic transmission, Studebaker twin-traction rear end, power steering, power brakes (disc's front, drum rear), power windows, tilt wheel, factory a/c and new tires. The car has 75,868 miles and is in excellent running condition. A real head turner. If you are an Avanti admirer, this is one of the nicest you'll find. I'm asking $17,500.
