 Built in 1966-7 for drag racing/Hotrod, Put away in 1968 until last February when it was recovered and reassembled using all of its 1966 parts, The parts list reads like 1966-67 Hotrod Magazine ads. The unreal condition of the parts and truck, The NHRA 1967 legal suspension is right out of a 1966-68 car magazine Gasser article. VERY KOOL! Makes this a once in a life time find. All steel, never rusted body, super straight sheetmetal still in its 1967 coat of grey primer, new glass, White fabric top and wood + custom wood dash in marine varnish, Original roll bar with saftey belt hoops, SW gauges, Silver 'flake steering wheel , original steelie wheels, fronts are Corvette 15x5's, backs 15x7 custom builts. 1963 Corvette 327,Muncie 3 speed stick Weber 12" clutch with Aminum Weber flywheel, hyd throwout , C3bx intake, finned VC's. homemade zoommie headers, Aluminum firewal,l Ansen pedals. The list goes on and on. I made 3 changes: The truck had a generator which I replaced with an alternator but kept the generator wiring and regulator in place. simple replacement is all that it will take to put it back. I added radial tires to replace the dry rotted Bias ply's, I added a Caravan seat to replace the very ratty A tudor seats that were in it. Some of the original chrome parts have been replaced with new to get rid of rusted originals but are EXACTly the same. No compromises were made. It went through a partial update in 1971-2 and can easily be brought back to 1966 by replacing the taillights (Vega?) and several gauges, What does it need? Passenger side fender apron, paint I suppose, some header leaks taken care of. Thats it.
